All eyes have been on the Miami Dolphins offense during the 2023 NFL season, and now the cameras will be too.
The NFL announced the AFC East team will be the latest squad to be featured in the in-season edition of "Hard Knocks," the popular HBO show that gives viewers an inside look at a team during the regular season rather than the preseason edition for which it became famous.
"Hard Knocks In Season With the Miami Dolphins" will premiere later this year, HBO announced.
Sitting at 5-2 following its loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 7, Miami has been one of the most explosive teams this season, putting up points at a fast break pace with stars Tua Tagovailoa and Tyreek Hill leading the charge. The Dolphins average 34.3 points and 462.3 per game, which ranks first in the NFL. They also lead the league in passing (300) and rushing yards (162.3) per game.
Miami Dolphins 'Hard Knocks' history
This will be the second time Miami will be featured on "Hard Knocks," as the Dolphins were followed prior to the 2012 season. That was when newly drafted quarterback Ryan Tannehill was tabbed as the team's starter. The Dolphins wound up finishing the 2012 season 7-9 and missed the playoffs

'Hard Knocks In Season' history
For 20 season, "Hard Knocks" has featured teams starting training camp all the way until the end of the preseason and finalization of the roster.
But in 2021, the cameras extended into the regular season by featuring teams as they tried to make the playoffs and make a Super Bowl run. The first in-season edition featured the Indianapolis Colts, who finished 9-8 and didn't make the playoffs. Last season, the Arizona Cardinals were featured, who finished 4-13 and out of the playoffs.
